Donald Blahut, M.A Donald Blahut, M.A. will celebrate his 25th year as a clinical audiologist in 2003. He holds an undergraduate degree in secondary education/economics and a Master of Arts degree in Audiology. In 1987 he founded Audio-Logic Hearing Services, Inc. and remains its director today.
Mr. Blahut has dispensed thousands of hearing instruments and has worked with hearing impaired adults and children of all ages and with all types of hearing impairments. From the start, his professional philosophy has remained unchanged. “I think that sincerely listening to patients and treating them with the same care and respect that I myself would want is priority number one. To me, this is even more important to ultimate patient satisfaction than the numerous technological advances that have occurred in the hearing instrument field.”
Mr. Blahut is a cooperating supervisor of clinical experience for the graduate Audiology program at Northern Illinois University. Through the years he has helped to train numerous graduate Audiology students, helping them to become professional audiologists. He is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, Illinois Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
